D<\/span>own from Heaven<\/span><\/div>\n
E<\/span>ven to the Cross<\/span><\/div>\n
F<\/span>or God so loved the world that He<\/span><\/div>\n
G<\/span>ave his only begotten Son<\/span><\/div>\n
H<\/span>eaven and Earth rejoice<\/span><\/div>\n
I<\/span>n one baby<\/span><\/div>\n
J<\/span>esus Christ<\/span><\/div>\n
K<\/span>ind and just<\/span><\/div>\n
L<\/span>oving and forgiving<\/span><\/div>\n
M<\/span>ature and cool-headed<\/span><\/div>\n
N<\/span>ever doubting God<\/span><\/div>\n
O<\/span>ver our heads He hung<\/span><\/div>\n
P<\/span>romising us a Place in Heaven<\/span><\/div>\n
Q<\/span>uiet like a lamb to the slaughter<\/span><\/div>\n
R<\/span>ising again three days later<\/span><\/div>\n
S<\/span>avior and Redeemer<\/span><\/div>\n
T<\/span>ruly King of Kings and Lord of Lords<\/span><\/div>\n
U<\/span>nfathomable love for us<\/span><\/div>\n
V<\/span>ile as our sins are<\/span><\/div>\n
W<\/span>ith Him we are cleaned as white as snow<\/span><\/div>\n
e<\/span>X<\/span>pect Him this Christmas season<\/span><\/div>\n
Y<\/span>e sinners repent and be<\/span><\/div>\n
Z<\/span>ealous to share the Good News of Christ!<\/span><\/div>\n

Sometimes, your children surprise with what they are capable of. Collin wrote this today in his free time and all on his own. It humbles me to watch my kids relationship with God strengthen grow.<\/span><\/div>\n

*****When our kids were younger, we gave them almost the entire month of Christmas off and we did Unit Studies for Christmas, made cookies and presents and spent a lot of time serving. We really wanted Christmas to bring heart change to our kids and we purposefully made time for that. In high school that amount of time off becomes harder but they still book much of their December schedule with service projects. This poem was written by a 12 year old, Collin, over his Christmas break. It might be a good Christmas writing challenge for elementary and middle school kids or as a family devotion during advent. <\/span><\/div>\n
